There are tons of reasons to go to see a band live. You might like them and want to support them, get a chance to meet them, just want to bask in their general awesomeness but violinist/loop pedal maestro
Kishi Bashi is one of those rare artists you absolutely have to see every time he's in town. One of the greatest things about Ishibashi's live shows is that you never really know what to expect: in fact just recently he stopped toting around him drumpad and guitar and added beatboxing to his already eclectic sound. And that's what's so exciting about his live videos - each one is drastically different from the other and worthwhile to watch. After teasing with bits of it in his Kickstarter video and promising it'd go up soon at live shows, today is the day the man finally delivers.

This song blows my mind. Passed it on and instantly got 5 other people to like it too. OUTSTANDING post, so glad I found your blog.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it? Probably the best song on the man's Room For Dream EP. I don't know if you've heard anything from it but the new album is going to be intensely awesome.
